Harrison Street Fair

I didn’t realize the Harrison Street Fair is this weekend. I should put it on my calendar. It’s always on Labor Day weekend. I haven’t noticed any more tourists this year down in the Castro, but I haven’t been around the village very much. I do wonder why there are two bear events in the City every year: IBR in February and Harrison tomorrow.
While Labor day marks the end of summer in most of the country, in San Francisco it marks the start of a mad rush of weekend festivals all trying to get in some sun time while we have our best weather.
